Dolly Parton the country music darling says that she has no plans to retire anytime soon.
The singer-songwriter, 63, absolutely insists that she never intends to give up her career.
“After you reach a certain age, they think you’re over. Well, I will never be over,” People quotes her as having told the AARP magazine.
“I’ll be making records if I have to sell them out of the trunk of my car. I’ve done that in my past, and I’d do it again.”
The singer, songwriter and philanthropist is credited with writing over 3,000 songs and has 80 albums under her belt.
