Denise Richards has been promoting her new book, The Real Girl Next Door. In a recent interview with Us Weekly magazine she has spoken openly about her bad experiences with her multiple breast implants. In the interview Richards explains that at the age of 19 she put too much trust in the surgeons;
“When I was 19, a doctor put in bigger implants than what I’d asked for. I was in such a hurry to get them that I didn’t research my doctor.”
When Denise decided to have the procedure corrected before her 1998 movie Wild Things the surgeon increased them even further, taking her to a size D. Richards was asked why she didn’t take legal action, she said;
“I felt very vulnerable. I was getting ready to film Wild Things and I didn’t want to get into a lawsuit with some plastic surgeon.”
It wasn’t until Richards had her third procedure that she was satisfied with the results.
In her new book, The Real Girl Next Door, Richards talks about her ‘up and down’ relationship with ex Charlie Sheen and she also discusses the grief of losing her mother to cancer but also her recent joy since adopting baby girl Eloise.
