Demi Lovato has decided to quit her Camp Rock 2 tour, shut down her Twitter account, and was rumored to have had a nasty exchange of words with Joe Jonas’ new love, Ashley Greene. Looks like enough reasons to get herself admitted for rehab treatment, huh?
The 18 year old Sonny With a Chance Disney star has just confirmed that rumors of her checking in a treatment facility are true. The reason? Emotional and physical issues, which, according to the actress, have already plagued her for a couple of months already.
Demi was also said to have fallen out with childhood pal, Selena Gomez, who became closer to Taylor Swift and have sent a blast against celebrity paparazzi who insisted on taking unflattering pictures of her and post them in the internet. So much was the angst the actress felt for these people that she tweeted last month about how she hates them for wanting to post ‘disgusting angles’ of herself.
The final straw for the actress’ unstable emotional status came last weekend when she nearly went into blows with one of the dancers included on her tour. Fortunately, the experience served as a wakeup call for the Disney star and pushed her to ask for help.
