Was it suicide or a sex game gone wrong?
The body of 72-year-old “Kill Bill” star David Carradine was found in a hotel room closet in Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday with one rope tied to his neck and another around his genitals, the Associated Press reports.
“It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure due to an orgasm,” Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha is quoted as saying by the news agency.
The famous actor reportedly arrived in Thailand last week and began working on a film titled “Stretch” just two days before his tragic death.
A post-mortem has been performed at Bangkok’s Chulalongkorn Hospital and will, according to Britain’s Daily Mail, most likely reveal the cause of death as asphyxia. However, the coroners are still waiting on toxicology results before determining the exact cause of death.
David Carradine was probably best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine on the hit TV series “Kung Fu,” (1972-75). In recent years, he played Bill in Quentin Tarantino’s two “Kill Bill” films.
