David Beckham may have ended his professional football career, but the 38 year old superstar is clearly still intent on looking after his body as he has been spotted stocking up on vitamins ahead of what could be one of the coldest winters in years.
Beckham was recently spotted in the Earth Bar store in Los Angeles ,where he spent literally hundreds of dollars on all different kinds of items according to a source. The source spoke to the Sun Newspaper and said, “He spent over an hour there. He bought boxes of goods, with names like Pomegranate Nutri Seed Power Flour, Ultra Greens powder and Marine Mineral Electrolytes. He also got juices including Total Greens, Cold Kicker, Master Detox and Citrus Cleanse.”
It is well known that Beckham is planning on competing in an Ironman Event in the UK next year, an event that includes a 2.4mile swim, 26.2mile run, followed by a cycle ride of 112 miles. The source went on to say that Beckham was to compete in the Ironman Event with his good friend Gordon Ramsey as they said, “He misses competing since retiring from soccer so it didn’t take long for Gordon to convince him to do it. They’ve been getting up at 4am to train.”
No matter how many vitamins and shakes he takes David Beckham will need to be in peak condition to compete in the gruelling Ironman Event, but with his competitive streak and desire to win he will more than likely complete it in record time and without even breaking into a sweat!
