Patrick Swayze, 55, has been approached to star in a sequel to “Dirty Dancing”, according to British newspaper Metro.

“It’s great news that Patrick is so well and there are lots of offers for him. Everyone wants him to star in a ‘Dirty Dancing’ sequel. It’s just a matter of him making his mind up,” said a source.

Patrick Swayze is currently battling pancreatic cancer, but is at present filming a new TV series “The Beast”.

Paris Hilton slams U.S. Republican presidential candidate John McCain after he used her image without authorization in a political ad attack against Barack Obama, according to WENN.

“Miss Hilton was not asked, nor did she give permission for the use of her likeness in the ad and has no further comment,” said Hilton’s rep.

LAPD Chief William “Bill” Bratton has spoken out against a new proposal by a city councilman, who is seeking some new measures to restrict paparazzi, according to E! Online. Bratton reportedly told KNBC the following:

“If you notice, since Britney started wearing clothes and behaving; Paris is out of town not bothering anybody anymore, thank god; and evidently, Lindsay Lohan has gone gay, we don’t seem to have much of an issue… If the ones that attract the paparazzi behave in the first place, like we expect of anybody, that solves about 90 percent of the problem. The rest we can deal with.”

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina is upset - again!

This time she is reportedly furious over the fact that she allowed her daughter and wannabe pop star Ali to audition for the new movie “Trolls” without knowing that the film’s director, Pete Davy, is a well-known porn video director.

Lohan’s spokesperson claims that little Ali was unaware of Pete Davy’s past porn ventures and that she would never have auditioned for him if she had known…

Big deal! It’s not like she auditioned for a part in one of his porn flicks…

Britney Spears will not seek an extension on the restraining order against her former manager and friend Sam Lutfi, according to Contactmusic.com. The restraining order, which required Lutfi to stay 250 yards from the pop singer at all times, was supposed to be reviewed today, but her lawyers say that they will not ask the judge to extend it.

But there will still be some action in court today. Britney’s dad, Jamie, will attend court to review whether or not his conservatoryship over the pop star’s life and money will continue. He has had power over both since February, 2008.
