Daniel Radcliffe has been promoting the latest season of his hit TBS comedy series, Miracle Workers and while doing so, he revealed some interesting facts.
Potential Action Movie Star
In a recent interview, the Harry Potter star revealed his desire to be in a movie like Fast & Furious, but with a twist.
“I would love to be in a movie like that but in the instance of [Fast & Furious], if I could have a non-driving part, that would be great,” he admitted on Conan O’Brien‘s podcast. “Driving on camera is maybe the part of my job that I hate the most. I barely drive in real life. I have a license. But I really am not good at it and don’t really do it.”
The actor added that “trying to hit a mark, in a car, is my most hated part of it.”
However, he did offer up an alternate role for him in a movie like that.
“I could do some of the admin,” he says. “I’m sure they must need a lot of that. There must be an administration guy there. Someone has to look after these guys.”
On Going Viral
A clip of Daniel Radcliffe voguing while singing “She’ll Be Coming ‘Round the Mountain” in Season 3 of TBS’s Miracle Workers has become viral.
And while being on the Late Show he told Stephen Colbert that “the less context people have on that clip the better”.
Though he did provide some context.
“Voguing had specifically been asked for by the writers, you’ll have to ask them why,” explained Radcliffe. “They brought in a voguing specialist called Tomás Matos and he sent me all these videos. He taught me the baby version of it because I can’t do one percent of one percent of what he does.”
Unfortunately, Radcliffe doesn’t think he’ll be able to pull off those moves ever again unless he’s wearing lamé chaps.
