There’s a lot to look out for during the upcoming season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’. Dance professional Cheryl Burke, who has won twice in the reality show, is hoping for another victory and this time it’s for the “DWTS All-Star Edition”.
Instead of considering her previous wins as an advantage on the ABC hit reality show, the 28-year old professional dancer thinks of it as a weight placed on her shoulders. She thinks that having won twice creates a huge pressure fore her.
In an interview, she was quoted saying, “I mean, I still wake up and I (think), ‘Ok, what can I do different?” She needs to put on a unique show all the time like new costumes, different choreography. Even the level of difficulty has become extreme in preparation for this new season.
Three of her former partners on ‘DWTS’ will also be returning including Drew Lachey of Season 2, Emmitt Smith, winner of Season 3, and Season 8 runner-up Gilles Marini. But Burke says she does not know if she will be partnered with one of them or be given a new partner.
Burke joked that this season will be different from previous ones because the producers will be increasing the dancers’ workload, “They’re probably going to make our hours crazy.” Producers could make them spend more hours, choreograph more dances and then mix them up.
‘Dancing With The Stars’ will start airing their new season on September 24th on ABC.
