Cryer Confirms, Kutcher Will Be Joining 'Two and a Half Men'The rumor that Ashton Kutcher will be replacing Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men has been lifted from rumor to the realm of truth. Jon Cryer has finally spoken out and in the process he basically confirms that Kutcher will be joining the show. Cryer has remained reasonably quiet throughout the saga of Sheen’s very public and outspoken departure from the hit show. But now he’s made a statement about the news of Kutcher joining the show.

“I want to express my enormous gratitude to Charlie Sheen for eight great seasons. I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done together, and I will miss him,” the actor, says in a statement. “But I’m also looking forward to this new beginning.”

Cryer went on to say;

“Ashton is an extraordinarily talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show,” he continued with. “We are old friends from our male modeling days, and we’re both looking forward to being judged for our comedic artistry, as opposed to our exceptional physical beauty.”

Sheen got a word in too via Twitter, he wrote;

“#Winning Congrats to the cast and crew…CBS & WB..! My best to @aplusk !! The show must go on… You got the right guy! c.”

It’s going to be very interesting to see how they write Kutcher into the show, let’s hope they can pull this one off.
