Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were literally mobbed by their many hundreds of fans at Tokyo’s Narita International Airport.
The power couple and their two-year-old daughter Suri arrived in Japan on Sunday for Cruise’s promotional tour of the Far East in support of his WWII epic Valkyrie.
Cruise said, to ITN: “We’re gonna hang out. We’re gonna see some sights, you know, and we want to eat great sushi that they have here, and just looking forward to seeing some friends.”
The 46-year-old signed autographs while Holmes was handed several toys for Suri.
One fan apparently told the Daily Mail that “Japanese people love Tom and Katie”, adding: “Their daughter is super cute – her name is a bit funny (Suri means pickpocket in Japanese) but she is beautiful.”
That’s Japanese for you. I heard that fangirls and fanboys from Japan are really big time. They give stuffs and cool gadgets to the one they idolize. That’s why big artists would never miss hopping to Japan at least once in their lives.
