Last Saturday, a devastating incident in Arizona shocked the whole nation when a shooting incident happened and killed the cousin of One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush. Christina Green, her 9-year-old cousin was killed in a rampage in Tucson supermarket.
The 28-year old actress tweeted last Sunday confirming that the 9-year-old child was her cousin as mentioned in NY times. She said that there’s no word that can explain what her cousin’s family is going through in Arizona.
It is not just once when the child was linked to a tragedy, since Christina happened to be born on September 11, 2001 when the US nation was stunned by multiple terrorist attacks. Also, the Green family has a known connection in LA since John Green, Christina’s father, happened to be a supervising scout in Los Angeles Dodgers.
According to CNN, Christina Green happened to be the youngest victim of the said rampage. The massacre claimed the lives of 6 individuals plus 14 injured including Gabrielle Giffords, the AZ congresswoman that was rumoured the target of the crime. Giffords was reported in critical condition after suffering a gunshot in the head.
