According to the New York City medical examiner’s office, Australian actor Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose of prescription medications including painkillers, sleeping pills and anti-anxiety drugs Ledger died January 22 at an apartment in Lower Manhattan. The Oscar-nominated actor, best known for his role as a gay cowboy in the hit movie “Brokeback Mountain” (2005), was only 28 years old. (Source: CNN)
