Dark Knight hunk and a half, Christian Bale, whose description of his very public and very loudly announced arrest on suspicion of assault as a “deeply personal matter” apparently has no more deeply personal matter to be concerned about.
The authorities in Britain have stated that Bale will not be facing charges in connection with his combat with his mother and his sister, which took place last month.
Details of what actually happened in the skirmish are somewhat sketchy, and no one is saying much although the argument and the charges have been made highly public.
In a statement which they released today, the Metro Police Service has been advised that Bale should not face any charges in connection with the happenings, according the Crown Prosecution Service.
They also are reported to have stated that there was “insufficient evident to afford a realistic prospect of conviction” on the charges and that “the police have been advised that no further action should be taken against Mr. Bale.”
They did say that next month he is expected to be given a “caution” by police.
