Actress Christina Applegate, 37, has been photographed smoking a cigarette – less than a year after undergoing a prophylactic double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer, The Insider reports.
One source tells the tabloid that Applegate has been a smoker for quite a while and that she actually stopped smoking when she learned about her cancer last year.
“… But as everyone knows it’s a difficult to break an addictive smoking habit. Considering all the stress she’s had over the years, she had that occasional weak moment which has led to the occasional cigarette. We need to remember she’s only human,” the anonymous source says.
