R&B singer Chris Brown’s dad has opened up to People Magazine about his son’s alleged fight with his girlfriend, R&B singer Rihanna.
In the interview, Clinton Brown, 44, reveals that his son is very remorseful and that Chris is very concerned about the situation. “This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation,” Clinton Brown says. “Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip.”
Daddy Brown also says that there are two sides to every story and asks his son’s fans to show their support. “If you are on his side, you are on his side. Just because someone trips, if you are truly a fan, you are not going to demonize him instantaneously.”
In the interview, Chris’ father also makes sure that everybody knows that he supports Chris and that the horrific event has not changed how he feels about his son. “As a father, I couldn’t be more proud … He’s the light of my life,” he says.
