Chris Brown has been formally charged with two felonies with regard to last month’s alleged assault on Rihanna.
The LA District Attorney’s office announced that the R&B singer faces charges of assault and making criminal threats. Brown, 19, could face up to four years and eight months in prison if convicted, reports People mag.
Brown and Rihanna, 21, were said to have entered into an argument on the night of February 8, just hours before they were both due to appear at the Grammys. They both withdrew from the awards event and Brown later handed himself in to police.
It is being said that the argument was caused by a text from another woman on his phone

They deserve each other. They both have reputations as cheaters and as being prone to temper tantrums. And anybody who would go back to someone who beat them up 3 weeks ago in such a high profile case – that person is an idiot. Or in this case they’re both idiots.
