TNT has announced that basketball commentator Charles Barkley will take a leave of absence from the network’s popular sports show “Inside the NBA”. The announcement came not long after the former player’s blood test results stemming from his DUI arrest on Dec. 31, 2008, were released.
The blood test showed that Barkley had a blood alcohol level of .149 at the time of his arrest, which is almost twice the legal limit in Arizona.
Police pulled over Barkley in Scottsdale, Arizona, after they saw him run a stop sign.
But WHY was he in such a hurry that he didn’t have time to stop, you might ask… Well, according to E! Online, the commentator was on his way to get oral sex!!!
