In preparation for his role in the remake of the movie musical, Footloose, Chace Crawford faces singing and dancing lessons to get him ready for the task. Crawford took over the role since Zac Efron had to pull out. Kenny Ortega, director of the remake, who is also choreographing Michael Jackson’s comeback tour, admits that Crawford has limited musical experience and will need coaching.
‘He really sizzles,’ says Ortega to Us Weekly, ‘he has musicality. We need to work with him on music and dance. There are some big shoes to fill. But he has it in him’.
The female lead role, Ariel Moore, hasn’t been cast yet, but Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere and Amanda Bynes are all potential candidates. The movie should release next July.
Keep your finger’s crossed to see what he is going to do. But i am sure that he will put up a good show.
