There are many scandals that involve celebrities that take over those news stand tabloids on a weekly basis. At times these reported scandals are just so farfetched that it becomes obvious that they are just the work of someone’s imagination. On the other hand, at times these fake scandals can seem even more believable to the public than the actual truth and these are the ones that will actually make it to the mainstream media.
Here a just a few of those celebrity scandals that were the work of an over active imagination and that the whole world fell for:
Rumor: Beyonce faking her pregnancy – Somewhere, at some point, someone decided to suggest that Beyonce actually faked her own pregnancy and yes the world bought it. These rumors started right after Beyonce revealed her little baby bump during the 2011 VMAs.
Rumor: Emily Blunt was cheated on by Michael Buble – These two seemed to be the perfect couple. They were joined at the hip for a three year stretch that started in 2005 and went well into 2008. But when the event of this perfect couple splitting up happened, the rumors started to fly, that the split up was due to Michael cheating on Emily. But, in the end the only reason that this couple slit up was because they felt that they were not right for each other.
Rumor: ‘Blue Clues’ star Steve is dead – Steve Burns was that all time favorites Kids superstar on Nickelodeon’s ‘Blue Clues’ show, then all of a sudden Steve was gone and replaced by another. Rumors started to fly that Steve was placed in a rehab center for a drug addiction problem. At some point within this rumor it was than speculated that Steve died from a drug over dose. Well Steve is alive and feeling fantastic.
