Hollywood is considered the hub of the “beautiful people” with good reason. When you look at most of these actors and actresses, you cannot help but wonder how anyone living such posh lifestyles could stay fit and trim. Maybe it’s the addition of “work out trainer” to the typically household list with maids and butlers. Maybe it’s a fancy gym or crazy hobby. Whatever it is, we want to know so we can give it a try!

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba Diet

Jessica comes from a family where weight has always been an issue. Her approach is declining carbs and eating sensible food like vegetables and various fruits for snacks. She also loves frozen yogurt.

Jennifer Aniston Diet

Aniston achieved her great body by using the Zone Diet, where all meals should preferably have 40% calories from carbohydrate, 30% calories from protein, and 30% calories from fat. All the yoga she does certainly doesn’t hurt, but she also avoids fried food like the plague.

Cameron got hooked on exercise while working on the Charlie’s Angel movie. They had to physically train for the role over three months and she liked the way it felt. While she’s toned down from the intense training she still gets out and challenges herself to work up a good sweat (we’re willing to bet there are volunteers to sweat with her!).

This lady has meals prepared for her and self-doses apple cider vinegar daily in the belief it improves metabolism and helps reduce fat deposits. Personally we think we’ll just try specially prepared meals. Vinegar sounds like a nasty chaser.

The grey haired wonder from American Idol lost over 20 pounds by running and giving up some of that Southern fried chicken that was a passion (hey, Taylor – we love chicken too. Can we have what you don’t want?)

Kate lost her post-pregnancy bulge by exercising and dropping her calorie count to 1500, focusing on proteins and low carb intake.

Oprah has had a love-hate relationship with weight loss throughout her career. These days she’s finally seemed to hit on a system that works for her. She works out daily and keeps carbs to a minimum. Again, not bad advice, but from our perspective, we’re not giving up our mashed potatoes no matter what!

Wow… this lady still turns everyone’s heads. Her diet is all about timing. Before lunch she has nothing but fruit. Dinner is limited to salad and vegetables, and snacks are likewise depressingly healthy.

No matter what star that inspires you, don’t go running to shell out money for their diet and exercise program without some serious research. Many of the diets are expensive, and you need a program you can both afford and one that will be healthy for you. Always consult a physician before embarking on a diet and exercise program.
