Tina Fey appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night.

The “Saturday Night Live” star talked about her impersonations of Republican presidential hopeful John McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin.

In this interview, she compares Palin’s voice to a beautiful Alaskan wind song and describes it as a little bit Fargo and a little bit Reese Witherspoon in “Election”.

By the way, the rumor has it that the real Sarah Palin might show up on tonight’s episode of “Saturday Night Live”.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman yesterday, only weeks after he famously infuriated Letterman by lying to him.

Last month, McCain was supposed to appear on Letterman, but called him and said that he could not make it because he had to hurry back to Washington to attend the current economic crisis.

But as it turned out, Sen. McCain was NOT in a hurry to go back to Washington. Instead, he was actually being interviewed by the famous Katie Couric - a fact that really got Letterman worked up (You can check out that video here!)

British comic John Cleese is no fan of Sen. John McCain’s running mate, Gov. Sarah Palin.

In this interview he says the Alaskan governor is like a well-trained, nice-looking parrot - a parrot that speaks beautifully, but doesn’t really have any understanding of the meaning of the words it is producing.

Cleese also says that he doesn’t think Palin is good enough to run the United States!

Hockey mom/Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin dropped the puck at the Philadelphia Flyers’ home opener against the New York Rangers Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Times reports that despite requests on the scoreboard which read “Flyers fans, show Philadelphia’s class and welcome America’s No. 1 hockey mom, Sarah Palin,” the booing was so prevalent that the music had to be turned up in order to compete with the Philadelphia fans.

“As a proud hockey mom and an avid NHL fan, I was thrilled to be here,” Palin later told the media. “I enjoyed joining the Philadelphia Flyers to drop the puck at tonight’s game. I wish them the best of luck this season.”

Sarah Palin is not the first person getting booed in a Philadelphia sports arena. In fact, even Santa Claus has been booed in Philly…
