In front of more than 25,000 people, American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson performed “Ave Maria” for Pope Benedict XVI at Saint Joseph Seminary in New York.

Clarkson later said that singing for the Pope was like a dream come true. “I was so excited to be asked to sing for the Pope. It’s always been a dream of mine to perform Ave Maria”.

Oprah Winfrey had a last big surprise in her ‘Big Give’ finale show.

The winner would receive $500,000 and another $500,000 to donate to charity.
