Those crazy celebrities always seem to get themselves in some kind of hot water don’t they, and summer seems to bring out the crazies by the score, but this year, the whole year has had its amusing series of interesting celebrity events.
With just a bit more than a month of 2008 left,  and Christmas right around the corner, we thought it would be amusing to see just who’s been misbehaving.
After going over the list a couple times, we’ve got just one thing to say.. Santa’s gonna be TICKED….

The Drugs and weapons on the tour bus weren’t his, pleaded Little Wayne, in February. (OF COURSE they weren’t.) He pleaded not guilty to charges.

April saw  wannabe Diva Naomi Campbell claiming that the ONLY reason she was arrested at Heathrow airport subsequently banned from British Airways because she was black. It couldn’t POSSIBLY have been that she held up the plane from its proper schedule, cursed, generally behaved like an ass, spit on police officers and created the scenes shes noted for…   yawn..

April also saw former CSI star Gary Dourdan having a really really good time, as Palm Springs cops found him  passed out in his vehicle at 5 a.m. and booked him for  heroin–oh.. and a little bit of cocaine.. and some ecstasy.. hm.. did we forget to mention the prescription drugs??

April was also the month for Denver Nuggets, Carmelo Anthony..for drunk driving, when police found him weaving in an interesting way while driving his  Mercedes weaving and failing to dim his high beams.

Lets see.. DMX was May, or was it June, or could it have been July.. oh wait.He gets to claim all three months. It was all three. DMX arrested for defrauding a hospital, animal cruelty, cocaine, marijuana, speeding, speeding…  if we tried to list them all we’d be here all night.

Fashion designer to the stars, Anand Jon Alexander was found guilty on Thursday of raping and sexually assaulting models who aspired to a career, some of them as young as just 14.

Anand Jon, who is 34, is a designer who has in the past dressed Paris Hilton and singer Janet Jackson, and was arrested earlier this year for multiple counts of rape. Anand Jon Alexander faces possible life imprisonment after a Los Angeles Superior Court jury found him guilty on 16 criminal counts.
His attorney of course states that as many as nine of the witnesses were liars…OF COURSE they were..

Billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban, 50, has been charged with insider trading by the Securities and Exchange Commission, The Washington Post reports.

Cuban is in trouble for allegedly selling 600,000 shares of the Internet company Mamma.com Inc. (which by the way was his entire stake in the company) just days before an announcement that the company would seek financing in 2004. By selling when he did, Cuban avoided losing about $750,000.

However, on his blog, Cuban says the facts are false and that the investigation is “a product of gross abuse of prosecutorial discretion.”

TMZ.com reports that former “Melrose Place” star Heather Locklear has been charged with driving under the influence - of prescription medication, that is!

A blood test detected no alcohol or illegal narcotics, but Santa Barbara County Deputy D.A. Lee Carter reportedly believes that the prescription medication the 47-year-old actress had taken could have impaired her ability to drive.

Locklear was arrested in Montecito, CA, on September 27 and booked on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and being under the influence of a controlled substance after a paparazzo called 911, claiming that the actress was “driving erratically.”

She is scheduled to appear in court on January 26, 2009.

If convicted, Locklear faces penalties ranging from a fine to up to six months in county jail.

Samantha Ronson is coming to her woman’s defense and has allegedly told PETA to back off.

“I’m pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night” blogged Samantha. She added that the woman who doused Lindsay not only “acted liked an animal herself” but that it was actually an “insult to animals to group her in with them.

According to TMZ, Sam also calls PETA’s previous apologies too little too late, and insists they should actually thank celebrities who wear fur since they are one of the only things keeping the agency relevant.(just a tip PETA folks.. not all publicity is GOOD publicity.. although that was the last century outlook as I recall.

PETA, whose caveman style, less than honest approach to animal rights is relevant?   When did this happen and why weren’t we told?

Suge Knight may be large, but he’s still being charged.
He was officially charged with three crimes by Clark County Judges from an incident in August where he literally kicked his girlfriend to the curb in Las Vegas.
Two felonious counts of possession of a controlled substance ( yes.. two.. meth and hydrocodone) as well as the beating incident, which, although cops report they SAW this man kick his girlfriend in the head.. is only a misdemeanor.. sounds JUST a bit backwards, particularly given the disparity of their sizes.
Do the laws seem just a bit out of whack to anyone besides us?

Suge allegedly punched his girlfriend of three years, Melissa Isaac, in the back of the head while they were driving — She fled from the car, and Suge pursued,which is when Vegas cops showed up and told TMZ that they saw her loved one kick her in the head.

Frankly its not over the top to say that behavior like this, from a “role model” that teens look up to, is something that isn’t acceptable.
New reports are that Melissa, who was due to testify against Suge has since gone missing and cannot be located, by anyone, including police, leading to speculation that she has been a victim… of something… or has been assisted in her disappearance by Suge…
The most interesting part is that the police don’t really NEED her testimony to prosecute the the caveman…

Here’s hoping they make a fairly good example of this moron…
