“American Idol” winner Carrie Underwood recently told Allure magazine that her ex/Jessica Simpson’s new boyfriend Tony Romo still calls her sometimes, but that she doesn’t always pick up the phone.

But Jessica Simpson says she knows that’s not true. “I looked at his call log,” Simpson admitted Wednesday in an interview with a Nashville radio station, according to Fox News.

Hmmmm… Checking your boyfriend’s call log to see if he calls his ex… Isn’t that something only an insecure or very jealous girlfriend would do??? Just asking!

Gleaning some semblance of attention this week for what must be the first time all year, Roseanne Barr apparently struck a few chords with her diatribe about Brad and Angelina.

Not for nothing is the blog maintained by Ms Barr called Roseanne World. She is, or so it would seem, living in a tiny little universe all her own. Be that as it may, apparently her insults and commentary about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have garnered her a bit of attention and may have convinced the divine Rosie to backpedal just a bit, as viewed from Roseanne world.

“all celeb news is calling me to come on their shows and talk about my “attack” on brangelina. They say nothing about my attacks on howard dean, pumas, obama, hillary, maureen dowd, bush cheney, pelosi, congress, religion capitalism and satan though…I liked angelina til i heard her say she likes insane mccain for potus….

She continues with the insanity with her backpedaling on the Brangelina issue.

i do not know brangelina and do not mean to personally impugn them as they might be good people in the flesh, but the media’s images of them are smelly and vile, and I must always attack the media’s representation of what is good or cool, because those who inhabit the media world of glamour and entertainment and fashion and gossip are horrid people who have no talent of any kind, and yet think of themselves as tastemakers. taste my sandy buttcrack, tmz, and perez!

The rambling blogging of this minor celebrity make us wonder if she has taken to the ever popular Hollywood style “three martini breakfast”.

Roseanne is upset. Angelina hasn’t proclaimed her support for Obama and on her blog rants and raves about them making multi millions each year in “violent psychopathic movies,” kicking up what she calls a fraction to charity to “to look as if they give a crap about humanity” and then churn more films that “wreck the earth even more.” ( so.. um.. lets recap.. the kind of parent she portrayed, verbally abusive, environmentally ignorant and inconsiderate was a positive contribution to television?)

Her blog, is a testament to the strong wills and opinions of the star/comedic talent. It is also a testament to the fact that anyone, can blog about anything, regardless of their knowledge on the subject.

She does however tend to have that most common of diseases, “if you don’t agree with me you’re an idiot” attitude that perhaps will serve to turn off all attempts to win new voters.

Perhaps she should have stuck to jokes or playing those television bad parents?

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is endorsing a new collection of clothes, including fur goods - a fact that has angered lots of animal rights activists. The famous actress can be seen in an ad for the Italian designer Tod, wearing both fox fur and fur-lined shoes.

“Gwyneth Paltrow should be ashamed. I can only assume that Paltrow either is ignorant of the facts or lacks human decency and compassion,” says director of Respect for Animals, Mark Glover, according to Contactmusic.com.

Tony Wardle, associate director of the vegetarian charity Viva!, is also furious. “There is nothing feminine about inserting an electrode into the anus of a terrified and struggling fox and then electrocuting it. Ms Paltrow is an actress – and seemingly a particularly stupid one at that,” Wardle says according to the Independent.co.uk.

Oh, we almost forgot to tell you…. The people from Peta are also very, very upset. “We’ve written to her [Gwyneth Paltrow] many times, and sent her videos showing how animals suffer for fur, but have never received a response”, says a spokesman for the organization.

We just don’t get it… Why endorse fur, Paltrow? WHY? Now we’re just waiting for Pamela Anderson to say something really mean about the whole thing. She usually does when it comes to animal rights issues (Just a few weeks ago Anderson called singer Jessica Simpson a “b-tch” and a “whore” for wearing a “Real Girls Eat Meat” T-shirt).

Band member Jared Leto, and his brother, fellow rocker Shannon are headed to court for tardiness, or so it would seem.

Virgin records sued them Friday for not kicking up the goods on a deal that they signed with Immortal records almost nine years ago.
The two eyelinered band members signed on the dotted line to do a five-album deal , and while they did make allowances for Leto to appear in several movies and other appearances, after the first album in 2002, named for the band, only one more has made an appearance.

The second, titled A Beautiful Lie, showed its face in 2005, but since then, 30 Seconds to Mars hasn’t made any real effort to cough up the rest of the albums they owe.
Virgin records, and their superior company, Capitol Music, says its just tired of waiting for the rest of their contract.

The brothers Letos found a way out of their 1999 contract in July by using a section of the California Labor Code that says a contract can’t be enforced against an employee beyond seven years “from the commencement of service under it.”

To be able to step through that particular loophole, the employees involved in “the production of phonorecords” have to give written notice that it won’t be providing its services.

They maybe didn’t notice the part where it said the employer could recover damages though for breach of contract, and Capitol is suing to do just that. To the tune of about 30 million, which is a tune we wouldn’t like to dance to.

Jackson Browne, one of “The” premier entertainers and famous for  love of a decent reason to protest, has found one, and is taking full advantage of it.

Jackson Browne, who is famed for several protest songs as well as being part of the rock and roll hall of fame, have filed suit against the Presidential hopeful, John McCain, and have included in their suit the Republican National Committee, in response to their using his greatest hit son, Running On Empty, in a campaign ad that they featured which was a slam at Obama.
Curiously enough when McCain and clan began using the song to slam dunk the opposition, it appears they “forgot” a simply little thing, like .. asking permission.

Browne, himself a fairly staunch Democrat, says that he was “incensed” by the use of the song that may lend some to believe that he himself endorses McCain, and has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit in Los Angeles today.

Browne’s attorney, Lawrence Iser issued a statement, “We are confident that Jackson Browne will prevail in this lawsuit, the courts have long held that the unauthorized use of a famous singer’s voice in a commercial constitutes a false endorsement and a violation of the singer’s right of publicity.

“In light of Jackson Browne’s lifelong commitment to Democratic ideals and political candidates, the misappropriation of Jackson Browne’s endorsement is entirely reprehensible, and I have no doubt that a jury will agree.”
