Former “Soul Train” host arrested on suspicion of domestic violence

Former “Soul Train” host Don Cornelius, 72, was arrested Friday on suspicion of domestic violence, E! Online reports.
Police arrived at Cornelius’ Los Angeles home on Mulholland Drive around 7:15 p.m. Friday after someone had reported a domestic dispute. He was booked on felony domestic violence, but was released on $50,000 bail the next morning.
Police have not yet released any information regarding who Cornelius allegedly assaulted.
Cornelius is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court on Nov. 14.
