Rapper Kanye West and one of his bodyguards were arrested at Los Angeles International Airport shortly before 8am local time yesterday, after a fight with some paparazzi.

According to TMZ.com, the nine-time Grammy Award winner is the guy in the grey hooded sweatshirt and the bodyguard is the one dressed in red.

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that West was arrested on suspicion of vandalism after the photographer’s camera valued at over $12,500 was broken. But the rap star quickly posted the $20,000 bail and has since then even had time to acknowledge the whole incident on his blog:

“We back in the lab!!! I’m cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn’t cool. I gotta work now… I’ll rant later!”

West is due in court on October 2nd.

Much beleaguered Rapper DMX, (Yes, from the movie Exit Wounds, for those of you who asked)  is out of the frying pan and directly into the fire.

Released from one sojourn in jail, he is currently enjoying the hospitality of another jail system this evening.
DMX is back in custody in Phoenix after extradition from Miami yesterday. He entered a builty plea two weeks past from his ” attempted marijuana and cocaine possession” which came from a June arrest during a sting operation in Miami.

Sentenced to time served and 485 dollars fines he had two weeks, or fifteen days for the Maricopa Arizona folks to come and get him or he could leave Florida.

Arizona complied. He now faces 11 counts of animal cruelty, drug possession and was arrested on a warrant for missing his court date.
Bail was set at 25,000.

Police in Vegas say that the  rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight is currently enjoying the hospitality of the   Las Vegas jail  system after his arrest yesterday morning on drug and assault charges . The bad boy rapper was  accused of beating his girlfriend while brandishing a knife.

“Knight was arrested about 6:40 a.m. Wednesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and battery domestic violence.” according to US Mag and the Washington Post (who reports he is now out on bail).

Police responded to someones report of a car hitting a curb near the  Stripand found Knight standing over his  girlfriend with a knife.

We don’t know about you, but that would be a pretty big red flag to us to get out of the relationship.

Police say the woman tried to run away from the car but was grabbed by  Knight.

McKenzie Phillips,  one time actress of the hit series, One Day At a Time, was arrested yesterday for possession of Heroin and cocaine.
Now those aren’t just a small habit type of drug we’d also note.
According to TMZ, police were called to Terminal four of the LA Airport about ten o’clock yesterday morning where they found baggies and balloons containing what they believe to be heroin and cocaine.

Phillips, daughter of  The Mamas and the Papas lead singer, John Phillips, and his first wife, Susan Adams (aka Suzy January) has had a long standing drug problem, but it was believed that she had cleaned herself up after being fired from the sitcom years ago.

Most recently Phillips appeared in a Cold Case episode in 2007

Actor Andy Dick, 42, maybe best known for his role as the nerdy Owen Kronsky in the sitcom “Less then Perfect”, will not be charged with sexual battery stemming from his arrest last month, according to prosecutors.

However, the actor is still scheduled to face a judge tomorrow on misdemeanor drug possession and battery charges, according to Fox News.

Dick was arrested outside a chicken restaurant in Murrieta, CA, a few weeks ago, after he allegedly urinated in the restaurant’s parking lot and exposed a 17-year-old girl’s breasts. When searched, cops found both marijuana and some kind of prescription medication in the wasted actor’s pants.

The funny actor was booked on suspicion of sexual battery, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and public intoxication.

“The Office” water cooler gossip just got a bit tastier.

Hit man Craig Robinson, and boy friend in the making to Kelly in “The Office” has been a naughty boy.

It appears he will be looking felony drug charges in the eye  after being arrested during a traffic stop.

Filed Friday afternoon in Los Angeles DA’s office, Robinson is being charged with ”  two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of being under the influence of a controlled substance.”

Apparently those controlled substances  he may have been influence by purportedly include   amphetamines, cocaine and cannabinoids—or any of the chemicals found in cannabis.

Robinson, was arrrested on June 29 in Culver City, Calif., when police officers pulled him over for a  simple little traffic violation and found drugs in the car, authorities stated, which made the arrest not so simple.

He will be arraigned on Aug. 21.

Surprise..  his representative had no comment.
