Shia LaBeouf is probably pretty happy right now…

According to E! Online, the LA District Attorney’s Office has decided not to file charges against actor Shia LaBeouf in connection with his accident in July, which left him with an injured hand.

A D.A. spokesperson has told E! News that they simply do not have sufficient evidence to file DUI charges against LaBeouf.

The 22-year-old actor was cited for misdemeanor driving under the influence after his pickup collided with another vehicle, causing his truck to flip over.

RECAP: Presidential hopeful John McCain cancelled his appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on very short notice.

Letterman says that McCain called him and said that he could not make it because he had to hurry back to Washington to attend the current economic crisis.

But as it turns out, Sen. McCain was NOT in a hurry to go back to Washington - Instead, he was actually being interviewed by the famous Katie Couric!!!

Halfway through his broadcast last night, Letterman learns about this and shows his audience a live feed of a makeup artist putting the finishing touches on Sen. McCain while he waits to talk to Couric.

“He doesn’t seem to be racing to the airport, does he?” Letterman said, shouting at the television monitor: “Hey, John, I got a question! You need a ride to the airport?”

DMX was hospitalized in Florida Monday, which means that the 37-year-old rapper will not be able to appear in an Arizona court today as planned, according to E! Online.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is facing both animal-cruelty and drug possession charges.

Nobody has yet revealed why the rapper was hospitalized, but according to his attorney, “it was serious enough for him to be brought and taken into a treatment facility.”

George Michael was arrested Friday in North London, The Daily Telegraph reports.

The singer was reportedly caught using a small amount of crack cocaine and marijuana in a public restroom.

Michael was taken to the police station, where he was only issued a warning. He will not face any charges.

This is not the first time George Michael does stupid things in and around public restrooms. In 1998, he was arrested outside a restroom at a park in Beverly Hills and charged with “engaging in a lewd act.” That time he was arrested by an undercover officer and sentenced to 80 hours of community service.

Former Mega star Ryan O’Neal AND his 23-year-old son, Redmond, were arrested Thursday at their home in Malibu for suspicion of methamphetamine possession.

According to the BBC, the officials in charge were conducting a routine check of Redmond, who is on probation fr three years since pleading guilty to drugs in June.

Both Redmond and dad Ryan were released on ten thousand dollars bail.

When asked about it yesterday by reporters Redmond replied that if he knew anything he would tell them.

The LA Times reported via a “source close to the family” that His dad was also arrested after additional methamphetamine was allegedly found in the elder O’Neal’s bedroom.

“The drugs found in Ryan’s bedroom were not his,” the source told “ET.”

“Ryan had confiscated those drugs from Redmond 2 or 3 months earlier and was only keeping them away from his son. He was being a responsible father.”

Yeah okay… We can buy that… right??? RIGHT??

Lost star Daniel Dae Kim, 40, pleaded no contest to DUI charges yesterday stemming from his arrest in Honolulu last year.

The judge suspended Kim’s license for six months and he was also ordered to do 72 hours of community service. The actor also had to pay a $500 fine, as well as $212 in court fees.

“I’m just grateful and relieved that this matter has been resolved,” the actor said after the hearing, according to E! Online.

Kim’s blood-alcohol level was reportedly 0.168 (double the legal limit), at the time of his arrest.
