Chris Klein, the heartthrob actor (and ex-boyfriend of Katie Holmes), was just sentenced to a 96 hour jail sentence. That’s roughly 4 days. He pled no contest to the charge of Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

 Klein apologized profusely before being sentenced. This was his second offense.

Chris was caught driving in L.A., 3:00 in the morning, while drunk off his bum. His blood alcohol level was .24, which is about three times over California’s legal limit.

The desperate apology may not have had any effect on the sentencing but the fact that the actor checked into rehab might have. Klein could have been sentenced to one year.

Instead, he received the aforementioned 96 hours plus four years probation. He also has to have an alcohol interlock device placed on his car, which requires him to be sober before it will start. Alcohol education courses were also a part of the sentencing.

It looks like rapper, T.I., is in trouble with the law once again. This could mean big trouble for the star. He just got out of jail for being in possession of guns as a convicted felon.

Another arrest could put him back in the slammer for a long time. That would be pretty tragic, considering what he and his wife got busted for.

T.I. and his wife, Tiny, who used to be a pretty famous R&B singer in the 90s, were both arrested on Sunset Strip after being pulled over for an illegal U-turn. That’s right, a u-turn. Now, that obviously isn’t enough to get anyone arrested.

The couple did get in trouble and were subsequently handcuffed and taken to jail because the cops smelled marijuana in their car. This smell prompted a more thorough search. What they discovered was what appeared to have been ecstasy pills in the car. No word yet from T.I. and Tiny’s camp.

The cast of ‘Jersey Shore,’ the whole lot of them, is being sued. A person, a female, who is going by the initials J.P., has sued the entire cast of the popular reality television show.

The lawyer representing J.P., Eugene Lavernge, reports that her client has a scar on the chin as a result of a cut that occurred after a run-in with the notoriously rowdy bunch.

According to Eugene, J.P. was thrown down by Jersey Shore security guards after she verbally spat with Snooki. This incident occurred in September of 2009. No word on why she waited almost a year to sue, maybe she’s in need of some extra cash.

J.P. is looking to get paid from just about everyone affiliated with Jersey Shore, including the show, 495 Productions, MTV and Viacom (MTV’s parent company).

An issue will be ordered tomorrow in the Lindsay Lohan case. There is some speculation that she may even be set free tomorrow as well. The Judge, Elden Fox, will execute the order tomorrow afternoon. This will come one day after Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, appeared in court. Unfortunately, no one is talking.

Things are looking up for Lindsay considering the fact that the doctors at the rehab facility she is enrolled in at UCLA, has recommended that she be released. Sources close to the situation believe that she will be let out sometime this week, after which she will be expected to participate in outpatient care.

Steven Slater, you know the airline steward who became peeved and exited the plane via the emergency slide, well reportedly before he made his grand exit, he grabbed two beers.

Those beers were made by Blue Moon. When that part of the story was reported, it seemed like the beer company was going to be getting a lot of free publicity. Well, it looks the company wants no part of it.

A spokesman from the company gave the following statement to TMZ, “We have not been asked nor do we plan to promote our brand in this manner for the sake of publicity.

There were some very serious allegations made surrounding this incident and our company is not in the business of trivializing public safety for publicity or potential financial gain.”

It looks like the company is looking to separate themselves from Slater. This is probably a good move because reportedly, Slater’s story about being berated by an irate traveler before taking the emergency exit, has more holes in it them Swiss cheese.

It looks like the plea deal originally accepted by the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Department in the Charlie Sheen case, (you remember the whole threatening the wife with a knife thing right?), has hit a major snag. Well, although it looked like he was going to get a pretty sweet deal, complete with work release, things have thus changed.

Things very quickly fell apart after the Jail Administrative Officer, Beverly Campbell, nixed that plan. Turns out, legally, Charlie wasn’t eligible for work release even though it looked like the authorities where willing to bend the rules.

Campbell, however, made it clear that the deal didn’t abide with the law and refused to bend even though there was undoubtedly pressure to do so. Her boss, the sheriff, supposedly signed off on the plan, though he has seemed to back peddle after it became known that the Administrative Officer refused to ok it. To his credit, he didn’t fight her but yielded to her authority.

Now instead of work release, Sheen may end up performing one of the hundreds of jobs inmates are requested to fulfill each day, such as working in the landfill, hospital or the dump. Beverly Campbell, the Jail Administrative Officer gets to decide. Stay tuned….
