Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, 48, was arrested last month in Laguna Beach, California for driving under the influence with his 10-year-old daughter in the car.

TMZ is now reporting that Sambora has just plea bargained his DUI case and pled no contest to driving drunk.

The streets will be no safer as Sambora’s DUI charge was dismissed and prosecutors did not file child endangerment charges.

Instead of being thrown in the slammer, Sambora only has to pay a $1,600 fine and will be on informal probation for 3 years.

After numerous times in rehab, battling alcohol and drug problems – Lindsay Lohan is back on the party scene, after trying to be sober and clean now since her last visit.

PEOPLE reports that Lindsay was out partying in New York on Saturday night till 4 a.m. She was spotted drinking Grey Goose & Red Bull cocktails and dancing to Britney Spears’ song “Gimme More.”

It’s only a matter of time before she goes back to rehab or gets slapped with another DUI.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, Bobby Brown says in his upcoming autobiography that his ex-wife Whitney Houston was the one who led him to drug addiction.

Brown writes in his book “Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But”: “I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice.”

Houston’s rep says that Whitney is sad that her ex has written such things, but that she doesn’t want to speak badly about her kid’s father – not even to set to record straight!

In his book, Bobby Brown also admits sleeping with other women.

According to The Sun, Amy Winehouse, 24, is going back to rehab - again.

She spent two weeks in rehab in January, but we guess that was not enough for the singer!!!

While the singer Amy Winehouse is free from rehab, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil was rushed to the hospital this morning due to an overdose of heroin and an unknown substance.

The prison guards found him in his cell vomiting uncontrollably. Blake had been in solitary confinement for the past couple of days after failing three random drug tests.

Mel Gibson made worldwide headlines in July 2006 for ranting anti-Semitic remarks during his arrest for drunk driving.

He has now received a judge’s approval to serve the rest of his probation without having to appear in court again.

The Superior Court Judge told Mel Gibson, “You’re on your own now with the self-help groups, so this is the most difficult time for you. Good luck to you as you continue your rehabilitation.”

So let’s hope he stays sober now, at least before putting himself in front of the steering wheel.
