Reports that Amy Winehouse was to spend New Year’s Eve in a rehab or hospital are being denied by the singer’s representatives.Yesterday, it was claimed that the singer had needed  medical attention because she was  “a bit of a state” due to a period of heavy drinking. The spokesperson for Winehouse told OK mag that it was : “It’s just not true. She won’t be checking into hospital, she has no need to.”

Rumors said that the off again-on again star had received treatment for nervous exhaustion after collapsing at home over Christmas. Last week we got the news that she and Fielder Civil, her former husband plan to remarry.

Now isn’t that just the strangest thing you’ve ever heard. We’ve heard her being warned by the judge if she doesn’t get straight she’s getting to go to Jail.. she’s not suing dad for slander over his prescription drug addiction commentary so its’ apparently not too far off the mark, but Lindsay does say, that dad scares her..

Well hun. all we have to say is, if the drinking and drugs and falling down, and  the threat of jail doesn’t scare you..    why on earth would someones concern give you a fright?

Meanwhile mom Dina is still livin on De-Nile.   as she continues to castigate dad for speaking ill of the addict… er… alleged.. addict.

In other news on the Lohan issues, Little Lindsay was in court for a session and received a bit of a lecture from the judge, who warned her, as reported this evening by the Telegraph, that she was in for jail time if she didnt’ attend rehab in connection with a DUI.

Lindsay spent just about 84 minutes in jail over the charges. Sound like it might not have been enough to make an impression

Lohan was ordered back to court on today after a probation report found she failed to comply to attend alcohol counselling.

She told the court  she had failed to attend the required treatment because she had been busy.

The end result was that herthree-year probation was extended by another year  in Los Angeles Superior Court.

She was fairly emotionless as the Judge Marsha Revel warned her she would be sent to jail unless she immediately attended.

“This is the last time we are going to be talking about re-enrolling and doing what you need to do,” she told the actress..

hm.. based on her looks a little rehab may save her career as well as her life.

Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael ended up tears on TV last Friday as he went public with pleas to the actress to beat her alleged addiction to prescription drugs.

He revealed some disturbing details about his daughter’s pill habit, Michael the stated that he was making a campaign public in order to “put pressure” on the star to address her substance problems.

He appeared on talk show Maury to discuss Lindsay’s ongoing struggles.

He told presenter Maury Povich: “There’s nothing left of her. I was out in LA with her about three weeks ago when she got robbed. She called me up at 3.30am and said, ‘Daddy, come out here’. I flew out and couldn’t even look at her. I had to go outside and cry. When I hugged her, it’s just a hollow, hollow person.”

According to an insider, the reports of Amy, the rehab queen, Winehouse behavior on the island paradise have been grossly exaggerated.( oh we can see how you might misunderstand pics of her crawling half naked through a hotel flat out drunk)

The singer, who returned to Britain today, was previously described as a “dangerous influence” on the small Caribbean island.

“Reports of her partying on the island have been massively exaggerated,” a source told Metro.

“She went there with huge problems and has overcome them. She is back on track. She did a lot of exercise and sure she got a little drunk but that’s what you do on holiday - that’s rock ‘n’ roll.”

Um.. yeah, but most people don’t take year long holidays kids…

Michael Jackson’s nurse has claimed that Jacko was someone who didn’t like pain and had repeatedly requested drugs up til the day of his death..
Jackson’s nurse Cherilyn Lee has claimed that she repeatedly turned down demands from Jackson for the drug Diprivan, which induces sleep. Lee also alleged that she was contacted four days before his death by a member of his staff when he was allegedly ill.

A staff member “called and was very frantic and said, ‘Michael needs to see you right away’. I said, ‘What’s wrong?’ And I could hear Michael in the background… [saying], ‘One side of my body is hot, it’s hot, and one side of my body is cold. It’s very cold’.

“I said, ‘Tell him he needs to go the hospital. I don’t know what’s going on, but he needs to go to the hospital… right away’. At that point, I knew that somebody had given him something that hit the central nervous system.”

She added: “He was in trouble Sunday and he was crying out.”

Things just aren’t what they seem here are they?
