Nicole Richie’s driver’s license has officially been changed from “suspended” to “restricted”, according to DMV records, which means that she can now use her car for “work-related activities”.

Richie’s driver’s license was suspended after she was arrested (Dec. 11, 2006) and convicted of driving under the influence.

In addition to enrolling in an 18-month anti-drinking driver education program, Richie paid her debt to society by spending a whopping 82 minutes (!) behind bars!

Adnan Ghalib admitted that he owns a sex tape of himself and Britney Spears according to reports published in the UK in Showbiz News.
He and the tabloids claim that the video lasts about two hours and features the pop star wearing nothing but the infamous pink wig.

Ghalib told Heat: “There is such a tape. But I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries.

“Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further. I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney.”

The pap and Spears split in March of this year when it was reported that she found he was stepping out on her.

E! Online reports that country singer Mindy McCready, 32, is expected to surrender herself to Tennessee authorities tomorrow to begin serving 60 days for violating probation in her 2004 prescription painkiller (OxyContin) fraud case.

This is not the first time McCready violates her probation… Earlier this year she allegedly falsified information on her community service report, but turned herself in later.

Arrested Saturday in Montecito,  Heather Locklear appears to be finding her own slot in the celebrity DUI club.

The actress, from Melrose place was seen driving erratically, while leaving a car parking area, and according to People, CHP spokesman said that “The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times.”

Locklear, it was reported was  described as “disoriented and impaired” by an officer who responded and was taken to the local precinct to undergo drug and alcohol testing.

“The 47-year-old was arrested on suspicion of DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance at 7pm. She was released on bail several hours later.”

Apprentice star Tre Azam has been a naughty boy apparently, and he’s charged with falsely claiming housing and tax benefits.

The courts have accused Azam of receiving £7,500 in benefits while working for marketing consultancy firm IDMM Ltd.

The 29-year-old, who finished third in the 2007 “Apprentice” reality show, was able to get some benefits legally in August 2004 when he was unemployed.

Council investigators however say that Azam never let them know about his earnings at IDMM between October 2005 and August 2006.

He is also accused of using bank accounts in the names of family members without informing them.

“He used them to pay his mobile bill, his car insurance as well as everyday items such as food and clothing,” said prosecutor Giles Atkinson.
Hm.. It appears he has a penchant for money… How odd for a media darling..

The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office says it has decided not to file felony charges against rapper Kanye West and his bodyguard for their fight with a paparazzo at Los Angeles International Airport about two weeks ago, according to TMZ.com.

However, the case has reportedly been forwarded to the City Attorney’s Office, which could bring lesser misdemeanor charges against the rapper.

West was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism after the photographer’s camera valued at over $10,000 was broken.
