Well, talk show host Ellen Degeneres certainly seems to think so…

When Mariah Carey appeared on Ellen’s show earlier today, the talk show host tried to get the singer to admit that she and her husband Nick Cannon are expecting. And when she did not get the answer she wanted, she brought out a bottle of champagne on the set and offered Mariah some - but the diva refused to drink it, claiming it was too early in the morning for her.

Even though Ellen might not have proved that Mariah is pregnant, this will probably make those pregnancy rumors become even more intense…

Everyone knows that some celebrities, from Winehouse to Lohan to Spears, and more particularly those who are new to the money and glitz, don’t handle it well and become somewhat cloudy of judgement with their newfound wealth, but what about those for whom it isn’t a new thing, who still find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer momentum.

Why does it seem so odd to us to see them, floundering when wealthy, presumably having it all, and then losing it. What makes us watch as they piss away their fortunes on drugs and bad choices.

A case in point would be DMX, a superb talent, whose acting skills in the couple movies he did, even considering the less talented star of the show, impressed us, and whose current legal troubles, to the tune of five, six or seven arrests in less months, have us asking “What is this guys PROBLEM?”

More to the point, how can the remaining celebrities NOT be scared straight by the loss of such legendary names and colossal talents as John Belushi, Heath Ledger, Freddie Prinze, River Phoenix,Christina Onassis, Dylan Thomas, Andy Gibb, Anna Nicole Smith and so many more.

Robbie Williams has revealed that he wanted to stab himself while using the drug LSD.

He  started having hallucinations after taking the illegal drug at the age of 16.

“It was at Shelley’s nightclub where I had my first acid experience. We were in Golden Hill, in someone’s kitchen probably,” he wrote on his blog.

“I was given a tiny piece of paper to ingest. E’s were too expensive for the Potteries. £15 - who could afford that? There was a band called The Prodigy performing that night and I thought they were really good.

“Afterwards we drove up to the garage and the police were on the forecourt. S**t, I thought. I want to go home, I’m scared. There is only one place I want to be - at home with my mum.

“So I decided to go downstairs and stab myself. Mum came out of her room and said, ‘What are you doing?’

“I’m just going downstairs to stab myself – do you want a cup of tea?” the singer then reports that he told his mother.

Williams is according to sources on Digital Spy, currently in negotiations with Simon Cowell to become a judge on The X Factor.

Patrick Swayze, who is currently battling pancreatic cancer, filmed his last scene for his new FBI drama, “The Beast”, in Chicago yesterday and according to his co-star Kevin O’Connor, the actor has lots of energy.

“He [Swayze] has so much energy that you don’t think about his health. In fact, I look a lot more tired than Patrick does, some of the other crew members look a lot more tired than Patrick…and I mean that, too, which is weird,” O’Connor is quoted as saying by Usmagazine.com.

Swayze, who is known for being a hard worker, has reportedly been on the set of his drama about 12 hours a day.

“The Beast” premieres January 15, 2009.

You can take the girl out of the trailer park but you can’t take the trailer park out of the girl.

According to reports, Pamela Anderson has moved into a trailer while her home undergoes some changes.
The past Baywatch babe opted to move into the trailer rather than stay with her family or in a hotel.

Anderson and  two children Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger, reports that she is enjoying her more modest living arrangements, according to the Daily Star.

“I have two homes, but I would much rather live in a trailer,” she told the newspaper.

“It is fun sitting on bean bags and doing washing at the laundromat.”

Last week Anderson wrote an open letter regarding legalisation of cannabis/pot/weed..etc etc. in an open letter to President-elect Barack Obama.

WHY… are we not surprised.

Jessica Simpson  “over the moon” about her sister Ashlee Simpson’s new baby .

“Bronx is beyond precious,” Simpson  reportelytold Us magazine. “I’m over the moon with joy. Life is a beautiful miracle”

She added: “Ashlee and Pete and healthy, happy and enjoying every moment.”
