“Star Trek” star George Takei, 71, and his partner for the last 21 years, 54-year-old Brad Altman, were married Sunday at the Japanese American National Museum, Yahoo! News reports.

The newlyweds have been gay rights activists for years and they were actually among the first couples to receive a marriage license in West Hollywood (after the state of California began issuing them to gay couples on June 17, 2008)

“We have a relationship that’s been stronger and longer-lived than some of our straight friends, and yet we were not equal. What this does is give us that dignity; (it’s) being part of the American system and being whole. We’re making the American system whole as well, as America is becoming more equal”, Takei told AP before the wedding ceremony.

The rumor has it that this adorable couple will spend their honeymoon in Argentina and Peru.

Rumors have been running rampant .. Did SamRo give Lilo a rock? Is there a wedding in the offing? Will Samantha be part of the family?

Apparently not, if dad can be believed, but then again,  if we pay any attention to the announcements from the blogosphere of Lilo recently,   dad isn’t really in a position to help us out with the rumors.. Still…

Michael Lohan says nope, no nuptials in the offing.

Where the big heart shaped ring on Lindsay’s left hand came from is anybody’s guess.

Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin’s 17-year-old/pregnant daughter, Bristol Palin, and her boyfriend fiancé, Levi Johnston, watched Palin’s acceptance speech Wednesday.

Johnston, who recently took to his myspace blog (which is now offline) to say that he doesn’t want kids, showed up with a tattoo that said “Bristol” on his left ring finger. But his wife-to-be was more traditional. She sported a normal engagement ring on her ring finger, according to tmz.com.

We really hope, for the sake of this seemingly nice young couple, that their upcoming marriage is based on true love and not politics…

Entourage star Adrian Grenier insists actor Shia LaBeouf did not steal his former girlfriend, actress Isabel Lucas.

Lucas was a passenger in LaBeouf’s car when he crashed in Hollywood last month. And after the accident, it was widley reported that she dumped Grenier for her Transformers co-star.

But now Grenier says that Lucas was never his girlfriend to begin with. “I thought it was funny that suddenly there was a big scandal, because since when were we dating? First of all, we don’t give each other those labels - it’s more subtle than that… She and I have a very open communication. We’re friends with common interests. Secondly, love and relationships are complicated. No one could ever get it right in a four-line sentence. I’m not married. We’re young in Hollywood and having fun,” Grenier says according to contactmusic.com.

Actor James Gandolfini and former model Deborah Lin got married Saturday in her hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, People reports.

Gandolfini, 46, and Lin, 40, exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony at Central Union Church, with Gandolfini’s 8-year-old son Michael (from a previous marriage) as best man.

The couple had been engaged about a year.

Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan and ballad king Michael Bolton have called off their pending wedding, according to E! Online.

The famous couple started dating in 1992, but their relationship ended five years later. In 2005, they found each other again and in March 2006 they announced their intention to wed.
