Word on the street is that Tiger Woods has taken out a $54 million mortgage to be repaid in 2016. That’s only 6 years from now. Wow, right about now a 40 year mortgage sounds great to me. I could use the break on monthly payments. Anyhoo, this post is about Tiger, not me.

Woods is building an incredibly big and palatial mansion on Jupiter Island, which is super exclusive. The documents for the loan were signed just a few days after Tiger and Elin finally parted ways, at least legally.

The land where the huge home is being built takes up multiple parcels of land. Amongst the home’s amenities are the standard swimming pool, actually there will be more than one, an oxygen therapy room, fitness center and tennis court.

Wow, that’s pretty impressive! I hope he’s planning for a lot of company. What could one man possibly do with all of that house? Maybe he should consider downsizing and donating the money he will soon be throwing away to charity. Just a thought….

Today, August 29th, would have been Michael Jackson’s birthday.

Hundreds of his fans gathered together to celebrate.

While there are undoubtedly celebrations going on all over the world, this particular one was held in front of the home Jackson and his family grew up in Gary, Indiana.

The King of Pop died as the result of an accidental overdose while under the care and watch of his personal doctor. The case against the doctor is ongoing. Michael Jackson would have been 52 years old.

Reportedly, Ryan Seacrest may be a lot of things, but being cheap isn’t one of them. After an expensive and exclusive dinner in Sardinia, he made some wait staff very happy, leaving behind a $10,000 tip. This was on top of shelling out nearly $50,000 for dinner. Wow!! Who lives like this?

Seacrest dinner date included, amongst others, his supposed gal pal Juilanne Hough and took place at the Billionaire Club.

 This meal was a business dinner which sources report is connected to a deal with CBS or Ryan’s radio deal which is expiring this year.

Christina Hendricks recently made the cover of Esquire’s magazine, May edition. This particular edition was focused on “Women We Love.” Scarlett Johannson was the magazine’s original pick. However, things didn’t quite work out and David Granger, Esquire’s editor-in-chief, wasn’t happy about it.

 He supposedly snitched to someone that “Scarlett completely screwed us.” How, you wonder? Well according to a secret source, Scarlett had agreed to shoot the cover, but things quickly and shockingly (to Esquire at least) changed.

Suddenly Johannson decided that she couldn’t make the shoot. Granger implied that he thought it had something to do with Scarlett’s commitment to the Broadway play ‘A View From The Bridge.’

Not surprisingly, the “source,” who spoke to the New York Daily News, attempted to do a little back paddling. He or she tried to make an excuse for Granger’s outburst, mentioning that David is simply a competitive guy and was just concerned about the cover that fell through.

As of now, there is no word from Johannson’s camp. I assume that Christina Hendricks probably doesn’t care. She secured the coveted Esquire cover which should catapult her to more jobs. She probably needed it more then Scarlett anyway. Stay tuned….

Could it be true that already Tiger Woods and Nike are considering creating a commercial? Well it’s not just a rumor and it has in fact already been implemented.

It appears Tiger didn’t lose very many of his sponsors by all of the affairs that he has had recently. Tigers Commercial with Nike aired on Wednesday and it features his father, Earl Woods who died in 2006 talking in the back ground.

Earl is heard saying: “Tiger I am more prone to be inquisitive to promote discussion, I want to find out what your thinking was. I want to find out what your feelings are, did you learn anything?”

Kanye West had assault charges against him dropped after he performed community service.

The rapper and manager Don Crowley were charged with vandalism, battery and grand theft following a scuffle with photographers at LAX airport in 2008.

The judge agreed to dismiss the case if the pair carried out community service.

TMZ reported that West’s lawyer has proof that he worked for 50 hours with the Red Cross.
