Their son’s name has finally been revealed and he’s not named after any beer or anything else outrageous.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves just revealed to OK! Magazine that their new baby will be named Levi Alves McConaughey.

“Levi was another name for the apostle Matthew in The Bible. They were, in fact, two names for the same person. Our son was born at 6:22 pm, and this particular time represents my favorite verse in the book of Matthew in The Bible: ‘If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light,’ Mathew explains.

 ”We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him. In the mean time and all times, just keep livin’,” the proud new parents added.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend, Camila Alves, welcomed a baby boy Monday. The 7-pound, 4-ounce baby was born at exactly 6:44 p.m.

Very quickly they’re going to be under pressure. This is an adult industry. I would be very skeptical putting anybody I cared about, who was close to me, in this profession at a young age. I absolutely support it as a hobby and as an amateur pursuit but, to enter into it in a professional world, is a whole different ball game,” he said.
