In a complete about face from the Jolie-Pitt methodology, (selling photos of the twins to People magazine for a whopping 14 million) Nicole Kidman and her partner Keith Urban want Sunday Rose kept out of the bright lights for the time being.

They even went so far as to make a television appeal asking for it.
The Kyle and Jackie O show from Sydney was their venue of choice for asking the photogs to give them a break please, and let them spend some time alone with their new baby without having to dodge bright lights and flashes as they vacation.
She’s not issued a complete ban, but she’s asked that they just stay out of their faces so they can show her around the city.

Vacationing in Australia , her home territory, Nicole commented “Photographers in her face is scary for her.”
She apparently doesn’t want a great mob of photographers making their first outings a complete scare fest for the new little one.

Actor Matthew McConaughey has kept the placenta from the birth of his son earlier this summer and plans to plant it in an orchard, according to Yahoo! News. McConaughey reportedly revealed this piece of information in an interview to CNN’s “House Call with Dr. Sanjay Gupta”, which is scheduled to air in two parts, one today and one on August 16.

Yep, we know it sounds weird, but people in some cultures actually bury the placenta for various reasons. For instance, the Māori of New Zealand traditionally bury the placenta from a newborn child to emphasize the relationship between humans and the earth. And in Costa Rica the burial of the placenta is said to protect the baby and ensure both the baby’s and the mother’s health. Not to gross you out, but in some cultures people even eat the placenta.

So, planting it might not be as crazy as it sounds, even though we here in the Western world usually just have it incinerated.

Clay Aiken, the runner-up of “American Idol” season 2, has become a first time dad.

He broke the news on his website: “HE’S HERE! My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.). The little boy was born in Aiken’s home state, North Carolina, at around 8:08 AM, on “08/08/08.”

The baby weighed in at 6 lbs. and 2 oz.

Lisa Marie Presley is yet another celebrity to now give birth to twins, according to Etonline.com.

“She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time, you know, and I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they’re having and when it’s time to make the announcement,” said her mother Priscilla Presley.

Lisa Marie Presley already has two kids with her ex-hubby and is due to give birth this fall.
