TMZ.com reports that former BLINK-182 rocker Travis Barker and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein (Nicole Richie’s ex) are expected to make a full recovery after the horrible plane crash yesterday, in which four people lost their lives.

Barker and Goldstein suffered second and third-degree burns when their Learjet 60 crashed and caught fire just before takeoff from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, South Carolina.

The jet was headed for Van Nuys, California.

While the bone thin celebrity girl isn’t exactly something new, there is a growing concern that its sending along the wrong message to the teenage girls who watch these folks week after week and strive to find that kind of body style.

Celebs like Calista Flockhart and Ellen Pompeo have taken their own share of the heat, and now its time that 90210 girls do to apparently.

Not having said enough, he went on to add that he thinks it’s “healthy” that the females on ‘Gossip Girl’ “aren’t bone-thin.”
His advice for the ultra skinny group of ‘90210′ gals: “I hope they eat a double cheeseburger or something.”

TMC.com reports that 39-year-old R&B/hip-hop artist Nate Dogg (real name: Nathaniel Hale) is in stable condition after suffering a stroke 11 days ago.

According to MTV.com, Dogg is currently sedated and is using an assisted breathing tube to help him breathe easier. Fortunately, he did not suffer any brain damage.

This was Dogg’s second stroke. He suffered the first one on December 19, 2007. About a month later, it was officially reported that the stroke had rendered the left side of his body partly paralyzed.

Today on her show, Ellen announced that she is the new face of CoverGirl cosmetics! Ellen will appear in ads for the company beginning this January. The rumor has it that she will be collecting a cool million for this gig.

Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez, 39, completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in no more than 2 hours, 23 minutes and 38.8 seconds yesterday, Usmagazine.com reports.

Besides crossing the finish line, the actress and her fellow triathlon participants managed to raise $950,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Actor Matthew McConaughey did also compete in the swimming-running-biking event. His race time was 1 hour, 30 minutes and 44.7 seconds.

Lopez got the idea of participating in a triathlon while eight months pregnant (she talks about it in this video). She gave birth to twins (Max and Emme) in February.

Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, and Nicole Scherzinger performed “Just Stand Up” live on the “Stand Up To Cancer” telethon at Radio City Music Hall.
