Rihanna’s lawyer has claimed that the singer does not think the stay-away order imposed on Chris Brown is necessary.

Rihanna is not allowed to contact Brown either.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, attorney Donald Etra said: “Rihanna requested that there only be a protective order, namely that Chris be ordered not to annoy, molest, or harass her.

On another side of the Rihanna coin, does anyone but us think that the coincidental return ofCover Girls ads featuring Rihanna AFTER she didnt’ have to testify is a bit on the cheesy side? Backing Rihanna might have earned them some merit as opposed to the second rate cosmetic company pulling her ads during the trial.

The image of the former Spice Girl is part of a series of shots taken by celebrated fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
