Entertainment Weekly, which offered a quick sneak peek at the new Harry Potter movie got the surprise of its life when it turned out that it was “WAY” early.

At the last minute, Warner Brothers had announced that it pulled Harry Potters latest and purportedly greatest adventures, and wouldn’t release the movie in the late fall as per its earlier schedule.

They have slated it for a mid summer release now in 2009,  offering up reasons that probably make sense from the business end of things, but certainly don’t to fans.

Harry Potters new movie however is the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s fall preview magazine in all its glory this week. We picked up the news a couple days ago, but apparently Entertainment Weekly missed it?

The ironic and amusing part of that is, that  Entertainment Weekly, and Warner Brothers share  a parent company.  Apparently the only thing they don’t share, is  information.
