According to the Boston Herald, Hudson’s alleged stalker was arrested for burglary the other day. He was then sent for a 30-day mental evaluation.

But it was only AFTER the man was arrested that police started to notice that he might be a stalker. According to reports, after the man was taken into custody he allegedly said some stuff about Hudson and her mother, Goldie Hawn, which indicated to the arresting officers that he had an “unhealthy interest in Kate Hudson”.

And when the police searched his car, they allegedly found two axes (!) and some other weird things like an Elvis plate and lots of women’s clothing.

After Paula Abdul’s blunder on “Idol” a few days ago - when she talked about Jason Castro’s two songs when he had just performed one of them - people have been talking about whether or not she will get fired from the show…

And here is the answer: Abdul isn’t going anywhere!

So there you know! To make a very long story short: She just made a mistake and the network is not going to fire her for that!

Sean Diddy Combs has become the first rapper to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

To get people to come to the star-unveiling Friday, Combs put a video online asking his fans to show up - and they did!

By the way, actor Jamie Foxx was the one who introduced Combs as his star was revealed.

Any publicity is good publicity…right?

Lindsay Lohan was featured on a full-page ad in Usa Today, with a less glamorous (mug)shot of her.

Apparently, Lohan and her lawyer Blair Berk weren’t too happy about it. TMZ reports her lawyer saying,“USA TODAY is idiotic for running such an irresponsible advertisement, suggesting that drinking and driving is some kind of American ‘tradition’ we should protect. Not identifying that this ad was paid for by the liquor industry is profoundly reckless. Drunk, old, white businessmen, drunk cougars out for girls night out, and drunk wedding parties should be kept off the roads of America. Lindsay Lohan fully endorses ignition interlock devices that have been well-proven to save lives.”

Just don’t drink and drive…period!!!

Barbara Walters has revealed on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” (in an episode which is scheduled to air on Tuesday) that she once had an affair with a married U.S. Senator by the name of Edward Brooke.

Walters told Oprah that she was “infatuated” with the moderate Republican from Massachusetts and continues to describe him as both brilliant and exciting. However, the affair ended to protect both of their careers from possible scandal.

Edward Brooke was the first African American to be elected by popular vote to the United States Senate when he was elected as a Republican from Massachusetts in 1966.

Earlier today, a few gossip sites were reporting that Mariah Carey secretly got hitched to Nick Cannon in Eleuthera, the Bahamas.

Now reputable New York Post is confirming the marriage.

Shockingly, Mariah didn’t even make Nick sign a pre-nup before the wedding which could be very costly for her if this marriage doesn’t last…which many predict will only be a matter of days!

A source to the New York Post said, “There was no pre-nup - there wasn’t time”

Mariah Carey’s rep has still not confirmed the marriage.
