A New York jury has convicted a former mental patient, 37-year-old Jack Jordan, of harassing and stalking the beautiful actress Uma Thurman, according to AP.

The prosecutors say that Jordan has been stalking the actress off and on for about three years. He has showed up at her home multiple times and sent her lots of weird letters and e-mails. He has also made phone calls to both Uma and her parents, threatening to commit suicide.

Thurman is said to have been completely freaked out by Jordan, who is now facing up to a year and 3 months behind bars.

Robert Blake’s attorney has, according to Fox News, asked an appeals court to re-evaluate its verdict ordering the actor to pay $15 million in damages to the children of his murdered wife, Bonny Lee Bakley.

Bonny Lee was sitting in Blake’s car in May 2001 when she was shot outside an eatery where the two had just had dinner. A criminal court jury acquitted Blake of the murder in 2005, but he was later found liable for his wife’s death in civil court.

One source has told MiamiHerald.com that actor Owen Wilson was seen picking up a hottie at the Purdy Lounge last weekend. According to the anonymous source, Wilson invited her to back to a boat at the Sunset Harbor marina, where he allegedly asked her to join him and a friend in a ménage à trois. But the girl did not accept his “kind” offer and ran off…

Pete Doherty is now a free man. The Babyshambles star was released after serving only 29 days of a 14-week sentence.

Pete, who came out dressed in a suit, said to reporters that he was looking forward to spending some time with his cat and having a rum and Coke. He also talked about his time behind bars and described life in prison as “a lot of gangsters and Radio 4”.

Simon Cowell has received something that is usually only awarded to members of the British royal family and distinguished politicians.

What? Well, according to contactmusic.com Cowell has gotten the privilege to park his car wherever he likes in Britain.

According to the Sun, Cowell particularly wants to be able to park outside every theater holding auditions for the reality show “Britain’s Got Talent”, on which he is one of the judges. One source told the Sun: “He hates walking anywhere and the idea if being mobbed fills him with fear.”

So after his reps had contacted a bunch of councils, Cowell finally got the royal treatment and can now park his car wherever he wants!

How cool is that?
