Actor James Garner, 80, suffered a minor stroke Friday, according to Fox News.

The actor, who probably is best known for the television series “The Rockford Files”, is still at a Los Angeles hospital, but is expected to go home soon.

According to Fox News, actress Jennifer Garth will play Kelly Taylor again on the new “Beverly Hills, 90210″ spinoff.

The 36-year-old actress will this time play “Kelly the Guidance Counselor”, but will not be a regular on the show.

Tom Cruise’s new movie “Valkyrie” has been postponed until 2009, according to Times Online.

The release of “Valkyrie” - a movie about the 1944 assassination plot against Hitler - was first postponed from this summer to the fall, but now it will not be released until sometime next year.

The film, which was shot last year at a whopping cost of about $88 million, has not impressed the test audiences. Tom’s German accent has for instance been widely criticized, according to some reports.

Memorabilia dealer Mike Gilbert, who has profited from O.J. Simpson for many years, has written a book in which he is claims that O.J., high on marijuana, confessed to killing his ex-wife, according to AP.

In the book, Gilbert also claims that he was the one who showed Simpson how to bloat his hands so they wouldn’t fit the famous bloody gloves…

The book, “How I Helped O.J. Get Away With Murder: The Shocking Inside Story of Violence, Loyalty, Regret and Remorse” will be available in stores tomorrow.

The Friday-premiere of ‘Speed Racer’ was estimated to bring in between $23-24 million, but it ended up earning a disappointing $6.6 million.

The critics are not too thrilled about the movie either, so it may be safe to say that this is not the movie to go and watch in the coming days.

Hugh Hefner seems to have enjoyed the recent racy photos of Miley Cyrus and now wants her to pose for Playboy when she turns 18.

Hefner told Extra, “Certainly she’d be welcome to the magazine. She’s a very pretty lady.”

Hefner also commented on Miley Cyrus’ Vanity Fair shoot, “To make such a big to-do over something as innocent as those photos — I think it’s a reflection of how schizophrenic America is about sexuality.”

With all the millions and millions that Miley has made from Disney, she hardly needs the extra cash. But who knows?! Crazier things have happened!
