“The Dark Knight” took in a whopping $26 million this weekend, making it the No. 1 movie for the fourth-straight weekend, Fox News reports.

The last movie to remain as No. 1 for that long was “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King”.

The Batman sequel is now No. 3 on the all-time domestic box-office charts with $441.5 million, behind only and the original “Star Wars” movie ($461 million) and James Cameron’s “Titanic” ($600.8 million).

David Beckham concerned about Victoria’s Las Vegas plans

Victoria Beckham and her good friend “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria Parker plan to open a night club in Las Vegas, but David is not too happy about it. According to Britain’s Daily Mail, the famous soccer player is concerned that his wife is taking on too much at the moment.

“She [Eva] asked Victoria to come on board and help. Victoria was thrilled and talked it through with her husband David, but he thought she was spreading herself a bit thin and should concentrate on what she was good at – running a successful fashion line and looking after the family,” one source has told the newspaper.

The rumor has it that Victoria will be involved in the project, but we don’t know to what extent yet…

Zac Efron (High School Musical) has rejected British music mogul Simon Cowell’s offer to make him a singing sensation, according to the National Enquirer.

“Simon told Zac, ‘With my know-how and your voice, we can make millions.’ He also offered to fly Zac to London for negotiations, but Zac turned him down, insisting he wants to concentrate on his movie career. Zac told Simon if he ever changes his mind, he would be the first to know,” said a source.

With his gorgeous looks and talent, he’ll definitely succeed in whatever career he decides to pursue.

Denise Richards’ reality show “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” might be singing its last note because of falling viewer figures, according to Star magazine.

“The numbers started out pretty good - just over 1.5 million tuned into the premiere episode. But the audience has dropped off. Denise has turned into an unappealing reality star. Viewers were disgusted that a mother of two young girls would use such foul language,” said an insider.

Now that’s really going to “complicate” things for her.

Isaac Hayes dies at 65

Legendary musician/songwriter/ actor Isaac Hayes passed away Sunday morning at his home in Memphis, Tennessee.

According to inrich.com, a family member found Hayes on the floor near a treadmill in his home. He was pronounced dead about an hour later at the Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, but the cause of death has not yet been determined.

His death came only 10 days before his 66th birthday.

Isaac Hayes might be best known for creating the theme for the 1971 hit movie “Shaft”, which he received an Academy Award for Best Original Song (the first Academy Award received by an African-American in a non-acting category) and two Grammy Awards for.

However, among the somewhat younger audience, he might be best known as the voice of Chef on the animated television show “South Park.”
