Actor and strange baby namer, Jason Lee and his live in Ceren Alkac say hello to their first child together.
US Weekly reports that the little girl was born August 10th.

The duo haven’t given anyone a name yet, but we’ve got high hopes that Lee, who told us all in May that they were expecting a little girl, will find a name more suitable than the one he picked for his son, who is now almost five years old. (Pilot Inspektor, from another relationship)

The opening track, ‘He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s the Pilot,’ absolutely blew my mind when I first heard it,” Lee explained when asked about the little boys name by Entertainment Weekly back in 2003.

He also said that it was mom Beth Riesgraf who originally coined the name, so here’s hoping that new mom has a bit more sense.

The star of “My Name is Earl” in the meantime,  is closed mouthed about whether he was actually seen waiting line for a marriage license. Stay tuned for details.

The Dave Matthews band has lost a friend and band member. One of the founding members of the band, based in Virginia died yesterday at age 46.

LeRoi Moore, one of the bands founders and their saxophonist passed away at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles, E news confirmed last night.
The cause of death has not been released yet, but Moore did sustain some very serious injuries when he was involved on an ATV crash which took place on his farm, located in Charlottesville, Va.  ATV Crash News

During that incident it was reported that he had sustained some broken ribs and a punctured lung, which have prevented him from performing since the accident, but he had in fact gone back to LA.

The band performed there and after a show opener, Dave Matthews asked the audience for some quiet and told the audience that   “our good friend LeRoi Moore” had passed away.

“He gave up his ghost to heaven and we will miss him always,” the singer said.

Laurence Fishburne has after some negotiation been signed to appear on CBS new season of CSI.

Nobody is talking about when William Peterson, aka Gil Grissom will be leaving the show, (although he will be staying on behind the scenes it is reported )but Fishburne will appear as a regular on the highly watched series beginning this season.

CBS network announced today that Fishburn will be introduced in the ninth episode of this season, although he will not be portraying a CSI investigator, but instead a  college lecturer and former pathologist, someone who will be more involved with and focus on the motivation of the criminal than the methods they use.

“I am elated and delighted to be joining the cast of CSI,” Fishburne has stated. “I look forward to a wonderful collaboration with the creative and talented team of such a successful and distinguished show.”

The famous pop group New Kids On The Block has reunited after 14 years and in addition to their new record “The Block”, the group is now planning to release a brand new compilation of all of their hits, according to The London Paper.

New Kids On The Block sold more than 70 million albums worldwide before splitting in 1994, according to Contactmusic.com.

Harry Potter has passed his exams, but as E puts it, he’s being “held back”.

The Premiere on the internet of one of the trailers aside, Warner Brothers has spoken out this week that the new movie, Harry Potter,and the Half Blood Prince which was slated for release in the latter parts of November of 2008, is being held back and won’t be released in theaters until mid summer of 2009.

They have scheduled the released date now for July 17 2009, which Warner Brothers says is for purely financial reasons.

“We know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment.” said Warner Brothers president.

The sixth book as well as the film in this smash series will focus on the search for the rest of the horcruxes where Lord Voldemort left his soul.

Usmagazine.com shows a side by side comparison of two photographs of Ali Lohan, and it looks as though her boobs have grown a lot in just a few weeks.

So the question is now: Has little Ali’s boobs simply grown or has she stuffed her bra, OR has mommy Dina allowed her daughter to get new boobs?
