American Idol star Carrie Underwood will return to “American Idol” to perform on next week’s finale as Kris Allen from Conway, Arkansas, and Adam Lambert from Los Angeles, California, battles for the prestigious Idol title.
According to MTV News, the season-four winner will be there to perform this season’s finale ballad – a cover of Mötley Crüe’s 1985 hit “Home Sweet Home.”
This will be the second time the 26-year-old songstress returns to the show that made her famous. Last time, she performed a duet with country singer Randy Travis.
