Britney Spears still faces trial on misdemeanor charge

Britney Spears

Yesterday, a three-judge panel in Los Angeles decided not to throw out the misdemeanor charge against Britney Spears for driving with an invalid license, according to E! Online. The case is now scheduled to go to trail on Oct. 15.

A pretrial hearing is according to some online reports set for tomorrow, but Spears is not expected to appear.

The pop star was charged with not having a valid California driver’s license after she hit a parked car and then left the scene in August last year.
