Just two days ago reports coming out of Las Vegas were suggesting that Britney Spears stage show ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ was about to be the biggest flop in history, but now 48 hours later her manager reports that the show is now the “best selling show in the history” of the state that is known as ‘The Entertainment Capital of the World’.
Britney Spears is all set to undertake a two year residency in Las Vegas performing around 50 shows a year, and on Tuesday it was reported that just three of the first sixteen shows had sold out with a source saying, “Many are considering this a disaster. Ticket sales need to start sky rocketing.”
Now 48 hours on things have taken a dramatic upturn it seems as Britney’s manager Larry Rudolph has said, “This is the best-selling show in the history of Vegas. We have a great thing going here. We have a great show we’re putting together. We have nothing but green lights ahead of us. We have amazing sales.”
To back up that bold statement from her manager a source revealed to TMZ.com that there are only just over 3,000 tickets available out of the 73,600 that went on sale last weekend.
It appears as though selling out the shows was never a problem, but did the news of the show being branded a “disaster” just two days ago have a positive effect after all! We will leave you to make your own minds up about that one.
