A court granted Britney Spears’ dad Jamie Spears permanent legal control over the pop star and her money yesterday.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who has been presiding over the Britney Spears conservatorship case, was quoted by Usmagazine.com as saying:
“The court finds the proposed permanent conservatorship is necessary and appropriate [because of the] complexities of her financial and business entities and also potential for her being susceptible to influences.”
Britney did reportedly not object to the fact that her father continues to control both her life and her cash.
