Britney Spear’s dad, Jamie Spears, will remain in control of the pop star’s assets until the end of this year, according to Contactmusic.com.

Daddy Spears was granted control over Spears’ affairs in February 2008, after Britney totally lost it and was hospitalized ”for her own welfare”.
