Britney Spears’ ”If You Seek Amy” too foul for radio

Britney Spears Circus Cover

Britney Spears’ third single from her Circus album has caused plenty of controversy and some US radio stations are threatening to ban the song “If You Seek Amy” for being too offensive, according to Marie Claire.

One of the lines from the song reads: “All the boys and the girls are begging to If You Seek Amy.” And some people suggest that the last four words is a play on words that sounds very much like “F*** Me” if sung quickly.

The rumor has it that Spears will head back to the studio and re-record the track. According to The Sun, she will be editing the lyrics to “If You See Amy”.

What do you think? Is this song too lewd for radio???
